Whether your group needs space for 5, 50 or 500 people, including company picnics, concerts, or weddings, our collection of Regional and Community Parks are sure to offer the best location and amenities that fulfill your needs. Most locations offer electrical power, fresh water, shaded and open seating, and a range of recreational facilities from top flight Golf Courses to tennis courts, children's play equipment, softball/baseball-fields, cutting-edge disc golf courses, and old-fashioned horseshoe pits. Year-round opportunities including festivals, fairs and other large-scale events find a welcome home at our parks. El Chorro Regional Park, for instance, offers wonderful opportunities each year to host the Renaissance Festival, The SLO Botanical Garden Festival, and more! El Chorro's excellent overnight camping, RV, and day use areas answer the need for events where a few or thousands of visitors may be accommodated. Next-door lies Dairy Creek Golf Course, with its beautiful and challenging links, and its excellent restaurant and banquet facilities at the Fairways Restaurant. Whether golfing, camping or visiting one of our many community celebrations, El Chorro Park is ideally situated for you to take advantage of our beautiful parks & open spaces.

Our special indoor facilities at the SLO Veterans Hall provides excellent opportunities for trade shows, hobby or craft events, large scale meetings or ballroom dancing. Many local clubs and organizations prefer to meet at the hall because of its spacious interior and its cozy meeting rooms. Regional groups prefer to meet at the hall because it is located only one-quarter mile from the California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly) and across the street from a number of nationally recognized hotel facilities, restaurants and other business services.
