Advisory committees are comprised of volunteers who represent
and communicate public interests directly to County Parks
Staff. Each committee has a vital role in helping to shape
the establishment , development and protection of recreational
resources. The information below is updated on a periodic
basis and is intended to provide a basic record of decisions
made and actions taken by County Parks advisory committees.
The next meeting of the Trails Committee is scheduled for
Tuesday, April 11, 200 at 6:00 p.m. at the San Luis

GOLF COURSE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Golf Course Advisory Committee (G.C.A.C.) meets quarterly
at 6:00 p.m. at either Dairy Creek, Morro Bay, or Chalk
Mountain Golf Courses. The public is welcome to attend.
The next Golf Course Advisory Committee Meeting is scheduled
for Thursday, February 15, 2007, 6:00 pm at Chalk Mountain
Golf Course.

GOLF COURSE
RESOURCE COMMITTEE
The purpose of the Golf Course Resource Advisory Committee
is to enhance and protect wildlife habitat and natural
resources at County operated golf courses. The committee
provides staff with assistance and guidance in planning,
technical knowledge, volunteer support and publicity following
guidelines of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program
for Golf Courses.
The San Luis Obispo Golf Course Resource Committee meets
quarterly at 2:00 p.m. at either Morro Bay or Dairy Creek
